crossorigin="anonymous"></script>The truth is, I'm not ready to start this project. I have been wanting to do this project since the end of my senior show in 2017. Ever since then, I've convinced myself that I don't know what I'm doing, that I'm not good enough, that I don't have time, that it will just be a complete disaster.

Well, after much procrastination, life changes, and finally admitting that I need help with this project, IT'S HAPPENING. The Mujeres Poderosas project is on it's way to becoming reality. I have my first interview scheduled soon and I am excited, terrified, still not feeling ready but guess what? I don't think I'll ever feel ready. So here I am, just starting anyway.

With a little help from my friends...

So, as stated previously, one of my biggest worries was about not having enough time to do everything myself. I kept trying to figure out how the heck I was able to put on a whole art show in my school's biggest gallery and how I was going to do this project but looking back, I wasn't alone. I had so much help! People praying for me, encouraging me, donating their time to help me with projects, and so much more. After coming to those terms and swallowing my pride...I asked for help. Gosh that was hard, I'm so protective of my projects do and a "I'll do it myself" kinda gal. But the Lord nudged and nudged me until I finally let go of the tight grip I had on this project. Now I have pretty awesome people helping out and I can't wait to see what we can all create together.

And don't worry a whole blog post will be dedicated to introducing these awesome people. 😎

Now what?

Well my friends, I am happy to tell you that hopefully by late March or early April, the first video will be up! My hope is that these videos will not only be informative but encouraging to everyone who sees them. I'm sure this is going to be a huge learning process but I am beyond thrilled to finally get started and share so many stories with you. As a "bonus", I will be uploading the videos from art show "Too Mexican, Too American" here pretty soon. Aside from my terrible editing skills, I hope you enjoy them! :)
